This bridge is listed in the National Bridge Inventory as a steel stringer. However, the bridge has the visual appearance of a concrete bridge, so it is assumed that this is an example of a concrete encased steel stringer bridge. This bridge is strikingly plain in appearance for a bridge built in 1929, a period in which bridges often had many architectural details incorporated into the concrete. With solid concrete railings that blend seamlessly into the fascia beam for the bridge, which in turn blends seamlessly into the pier and abutments, the bridge has essentially no architectural details. As such, the bridge has little significance in the realm of aesthetics. However, concrete encased stringer bridges are uncommon, so the bridge is technologically worth mention as an example of this type.
