This bridge is a relatively standard warren pony truss. However, the plaque mounted vertically on top of the top chord adds a significant decorative detail. This method of plaque mounting is something that was done on much older bridges, but few examples from that era retain plaques. This bridge also features attractive lattice railings for the sidewalk.
This bridge has been altered by the placement of steel beams under the truss. The trusses no longer carry the load of traffic and serve a decorative purpose only.
