This is a tiny stone arch bridge that is under 20 feet in length. It has a plaque on it stating that the "original arch" built in 1855 was widened in 1904. The design of stone arch bridges makes widening them feasible and this was historically not uncommon. In most cases, the original bridge remains, but one or both sides of the bridge have newer stone added to widen the bridge. There is no documentation for this bridge to indicate whether this is exactly what happened here. Assuming that some original 1855 stone remains within this bridge somewhere, the bridge is best described as a bridge built in 1855 and altered in 1904. This would make it a very old surviving stone arch bridge in this region. The bridge was again rehabilitated in 2008 following a flood in 2006. The bridge appears to have had a concrete ring with a corrugated steel base added to the arch.
