Those taking NY-63 as an alternative to the freeway will find visiting this bridge to be an easy and logical stop along the way, since this structure is located just off of the highway.

This is an example of a traditional pin-connected Pratt pony truss. This bridge features five panels, and is seated on caissons. The configuration of built-up members is as follows. Top chord and end post: back-to-back channels connected by cover plate and battens. Verticals: paired angles connected by lattice. Bottom chord: Back-to-back channels connected by battens. Railings: Standard hub guard railings which features angles connected by lattice.
