This bridge is an uncommon example of a small-scale riveted pedestrian pony truss. It serves a sidewalk, while a nearby modern bridge serves vehicular traffic only. Between the short span and the fact that this bridge was only designed to carry pedestrians, the bridge's trusses are very lightweight in design, and are composed of angles. Outriggers are present on the bridge. Original pipe railings remain. The bridge appears to be unaltered. The bridge's trusses do show signs of deterioration including section loss, however the cost to restore a tiny bridge like this would not be high, especially considering that the bridge has not yet deteriorated to a point where restoration would be physically difficult.
