This bridge had an incorrect 1920 date listed in the national bridge inventory, which may instead reference a date that the bridge was repaired or perhaps relocated from a different original location. Or it might be a complete error. The bridge is stylistically an 1890s truss bridge built by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company. This bridge features extremely unusual connections at the hip vertical and top chord / end post, where the diagonal is connected via large threaded rods and nuts. This unusual design technique can be attributed to the Wrought Iron Bridge Company, which built a number of bridges using these connections. For this reason, the bridge is historically significant as an example of that technology. In addition, its association with the Wrought Iron Bridge Company means that bridge must be older than 1900, which is when the company became a part of the American Bridge Company.
This bridge retains attractive lattice railings. Verticals are also latticed. There is v-lacing present under the top chord / end post. The bridge is composed of three panels. The deck is a typical Ohio style, consisting of wood with an asphalt wearing surface.
