This bridge no longer exists!

This bridge is a steel stringer bridge. The outermost fascia beams are encased in concrete so the bridge looks like a concrete slab bridge to casual viewers. The bridge includes original Ontario standard plan ornamental railings. The bridge is unusual because the bridge sits on timber bents and abutments. This is unusual, since 1950s stringers nearly always used concrete abutments. It is unclear why timber was used here.
