Information from Ontario Bridge Inventory: Bridge width: 11.1 meters.
The Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) is the oldest inter-city freeway in Ontario, and appears to the oldest in all of Canada as well. Unfortunately, nearly all the original or early overpasses have been demolished and replaced. This was one of the last remaining interesting and early overpasses on the entire freeway today. Unfortunately, even it has now been demolished and replaced. Aside from its heritage value as an early overpass, the bridge was very attractive. Original Ontario standard ornamental metal railing panels remained on the bridge and were unaltered. The posts between the railing panels deviated from the typical standards and displayed more elaborate architectural details. The piers and abutments were also detailed with architectural embellishment. The rigid-frame structure design also lended graceful curves to the bridge appearance.
