A 1907 GTRS Asset and Track Structures Document lists the approach spans, which are plate girders are listed as: 4 spans at 29.5 (built 1906), 2 spans at 28.8, 2 spans at 24.6 (built 1885). The main span is listed as 154 feet with a build date of 1895. The overall length of the bridge is listed as 355.5 feet. The accuracy of this data is not known, and the configuration of the bridge today may differ from what was recorded in 1907. The date and length given for the main span seem plausible however.
Pin-connected truss bridges are rare in Ontario, and as such this railway example is noteworthy. Adding to its heritage significance is the fact that no major alterations appear to be present.
