This bridge is next to the current highway bridge. Today, this bridge features a modern superstructure which carries a pipeline. However, it rests on piers that are from the former highway bridge at this location, before the adjacent 1948 bridge. This previous bridge was completed in 1919 and according to thekingshighway.ca it used wrought iron manufactured in England for the Intercolonial Railroad. The deck truss was demolished when the 1948 bridge was completed, but the concrete piers were left standing.
More recently, in 2013, the piers were reused to support a pipeline system. Read more about this here.
The piers of this bridge are noteworthy as they help tell the story of the bridges located at this crossing.
