This rare stone arch bridge has sadly been altered, but still retains some charm when viewed from the correct side. The problem, is the bridge was widened with a concrete culvert on one side, completely hiding the arch on one side. On the other side, the stone arch is still visible, however this side also has some unusual historical alterations. Above the stone a riveted girder is present. And on top of the riveted girder, there is added concrete. One interesting and potentially original detail that has survived and remains visible today are underwater timber planks directly under the arch. Although structurally separate there is a narrow one lane girder railway over highway overpass next to this bridge. Photos are included in the gallery. The overpass also has some alterations, including old concrete alterations which date to 1925 based on a date stamp on the concrete. Date given is an estimated circa date.
