This bridge, which is closed to traffic, is located on a public road that is no longer maintained for use. The road can still be walked on however, and a walk north to the bridge is not difficult. This is a very short pony truss bridge. It is not so far deteriorated that it could not be rehabilitated for continued vehicular use for a reasonable cost, likely less than the cost of building a new bridge. Alternatively, as a small pony truss, this bridge would be also be worth considering for relocation, restoration, and reuse in a new location, perhaps on a non-motorized trail. Moving such a small bridge by lifting it off its abutments with a crane would be very easy.
