This bridge has unusual and very elaborate decorative concrete balustrade railings that extend beyond the bridge span itself and act as approach railings as well. From the road, it looks like there is a much larger and more elaborate bridge here. However if you get beside the bridge it turns out the span itself is tiny and unremarkable: a simple concrete slab design of short length. It is unclear why such an elaborate design was used. Missing from most of the bridge, the original design included concrete finial balls on the railings. Information was also cast into the top of the railings, but it is badly faded and hard to read. The text likely tells who built the bridge. A date which appears to be 1917 is also visible, indicating when the bridge was built.
This historic bridge has been demolished. This map is shown for reference purposes only.
