This bridge is a traditionally composed example of an early 20th Century pony truss in Ontario. Bridges this old and of this design are now rare in Niagara Region. The bridge is on a road no longer maintained and the bridge has been closed to traffic. It does not appear to be in any any imminent risk in its current location, but would also be a worthy candidate for relocation, restoration, and reuse as a pedestrian bridge on a trail system.
