Bridge Documentation

Information from Ontario Bridge Inventory: Bridge rehabilitation in 1983. A 2021 visit to this bridge revealed that the original railings have sadly been replaced with New Jersey barriers.

Concrete rigid-frame bridges are a common bridge type in Ontario. This bridge however is a steel rigid-frame. In terms of shape, its shallow curved superstructure echoes the thinking of the more common concrete rigid-frames found in Ontario. The exposed steel girders of this bridge display a built-up riveted design. This bridge retains original railings behind modern additions.
