Information from Ontario Bridge Inventory: This bridge was rehabilitated in 1985 and 2008. Bridge width: 11.9 meters. Spans (7) 20 meters, 26 meters, 26 meters, 26 meters, 26 meters, 26 meters, 20 meters.
This bridge is a late example of a steel stringer bridge (and therefore of limited heritage significance), and now that it has lost its original railings, it really does not have any heritage value today. However, HistoricBridges.org was able to document the bridge before the railings were removed, and at the time, the bridge was a long surviving example of a bridge that retained original standard plan ornamental steel railings in Ontario.
