This bridge is a long-abandoned treasure hidden within Minesing Wetlands Conservation Area. It might be hard to believe that McKinnon Road once continued north into this area, rather than ending at the south end of the conservation area, but this abandoned bridge (as well as some other abandoned structures hidden within the area) prove otherwise. Surprisingly, the bridge's trusses are in decent condition, even with paint remaining on them, something many of Ontario's open-to-traffic truss bridges lack. The only problem is that water has eroded the approach to the abutments of the bridge.
This bridge is within Minesing Wetlands Conservation Area. Approach the bridge from the south. It is about 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) walk on a trail from the current northern drivable end of McKinnon Road.
