This bridge is a traditional example of a riveted pony truss. It retains original lattice railings, with modern guide rail added in front. The design of the v-lacing on the vertical members which include outriggers, is similar to bridges that were known to have been built by the Ontario Bridge Company of Toronto in the 1920s, suggesting this bridge might have similar origins. No plaque survives on this bridge to confirm this possibility.
