Bridge Documentation

This bridge's future is at risk!

Bridge Status: August 2025: This bridge is being demolished and replaced this year and may already be gone!

This traditional riveted Warren pony truss bridge was relocated here from an unknown location in 1969. As such, it sits on concrete abutments typical of the 1960s in Ontario (including the 1969 date cast into the concrete), and the truss span has a metal grate deck, whereas in its previous location it likely had a timber deck. The original lattice railings on the truss were retained as well.
