Bridge Documentation

This bridge is a former railway bridge that is now part of a rail-trail. While Bruce County has many highway trusses surviving as of 2016, only a couple railway truss bridges were noted, this being one of them. The bridge consists of a deck truss main span, and a single deck plate girder span at each end. The piers and abutments are stone. Some bolted alterations to the bottom chord of the truss were noted, but otherwise historic integrity of the bridge is good.
