This crossing is actually two separate bridges that are separated by only a tiny section of land. The two bridges are essentially identical and are uncommon examples of rural concrete arch bridge construction in Ontario. The bridges previously had steel pipe railing on them, which for unknown reasons have been cut off. The bridges are located in a scenic wooded area near the Bruce Trail.
These bridges have an uncertain future. Although located in Meaford, they are jointly owned with Township of Chatsworth. The municipalities have been debating options like demolishing the bridges or replacing them.
