Bridge Documentation

This impressive structure is a beautiful example of a concrete bowstring arch bridge, also called a rainbow arch bridge. It features decorative designs along the arch. The bridge retains original concrete fence railings. A sidewalk is present on one side of the bridge. The span is a relatively long one, accounting for the tall arches and presence of overhead bracing on the bridge. The bridge is rare and significance due to this; most spans were shorter and did not feature overhead bracing. The bridge was rehabilitated in 1991 and again in 2017. In 2017, the original concrete railings were replaced with modern steel railings.
