Of the many amazing historic bridges on the Oregon Coast Highway, this is one of the most notable bridges. This spectacular bridge is richly ornamented and consists of an unusual combination of concrete rainbow arch spans and a steel bascule span. The truly unique four bridge houses around the bascule span are works of art in their own right, as are the smaller decorative pillars at the ends of the arch spans and the ends of the entire bridge as well.
