The Historic Bridge Inventory claims that this bridge has no distinctive details. However, the bridge does have some unusual details. Many Warren pony truss bridges have outriggers that are integral with a vertical member for the truss. However, this is a rare Warren pony truss without verticals, yet it does still have some lightweight outriggers. The v-lacing on this bridge's diagonal members are also unusual. Thee bars do not have rounded ends like most highway bridges. Instead, the bars have square ends, but an interesting detail is where the outer corners were carefully cut so that they do not extend beyond the outside of the diagonal members.
Usually construction ahead signs mean doom for truss bridges in Pennsylvania. That however did not appear to be the case with this bridge, oddly enough in 2006. New plate steel welded onto the bridge suggested that something else was going on. It almost looked like something revolutionary was going on here... repair and maintenance, quite a rarity in Pennsylvania! Repair and maintenance keep bridges safe and save taxpayer dollars by avoiding costly and inconvenient demolition and replacement.

The standardized trusses have no innovative or distinctive details. Rivet connected bridges are not uncommon in the region. The bridge is an example of a common technology used since ca. 1895, and it is not historically or technologically significant.
