Bridge Documentation

This bridge is a highway over railroad bridge which would have been designed by the railroad company. The bridge uses an unusual design and configuration which shows up on railroad overpass bridges occasionally and includes built-up beams with a top chord designed to have a plate-like quality, with a truss configuration that has a rare Howe configuration, with counters at each panel making it look much like a double-intersection Warren design. The bridge form is an unusual one, and each surviving example should be considered significant.
