Bridge Documentation

This bridge is noted for its rare sloped deck which gives the bridge a unique appearance.

Cambria brands are visible on the sway bracing, while Lackawanna brands are visible elsewhere, indicating multiple mills supplied materials for this bridge.

The bridge has been abandoned since a new bridge was built nearby in 2002. In 2013, a news article suggested the bridge might be moved to a local cemetery, but as of 2019 the bridge remains in its original location so it is not known if the plans never materialized.
