This bypassed and abandoned bridge is noted for its combination of uncommon truss types. The bridge has a confusing history. It appears the bridge in some form was built in 1909. However a flood took place in 1921 reportedly washing the bridge right off its piers, however apparantly some parts survived and it was not until 1930 that the bridge was repaired, raised four feet, and reopened. What is not known is the details of this project. The difference in bridge designs between the two spans suggests that perhaps either one of the two spans (likely the riveted Double-Warren truss span) either was built new or is a repurposed span.
