Bypassed and abandoned, this bridge includes both a through and a pony truss span, plus a steel stringer approach span. The bridge was bypassed and abandoned in 1996. Bridgehunter.com claims this bridge was built ca. 1920, however this seems a little late for a pin-connected truss of this style. Therefore, HistoricBridges.org is listing the construction date as unknown. A news article stated that the bridge was built in 1915 on Willow Springs Road and moved to this location in 1929. However there is already an 1885 truss bridge on Willow Springs Road, so it is not sure if this history is 100% correct either.
