This bridge is a five panel Pratt through truss with riveted connections. Portal bracing is a lattice design. The bridge sits on concrete abutments, and would have carried a single set of tracks on its deck. It is now part of the Pere Marquette Rail-Trail. V-lacing is present only on the struts, while latticework is present only under the top chord. Battens can be found on the center diagonals. Other diagonal members use plate to hold the rolled sections together.
This bridge and the railroad line it carried has been converted for pedestrian use. The modern railings added on the bridge for safety do block the view of the truss somewhat, but not as bad as the wooden railings or distasteful cyclone fencing found on some rail-trail bridges.
