This unusual truss bridge is abandoned and without a deck, and for people driving on the nearby highway, it is the only evidence there was ever a road here. Unusual design details include paired u-bolt hangers for the floorbeams and v-lacing instead of cover plate on the top chord, although the endposts have cover plate. The National Bridge Inventory gives a 1932 construction date, which either is a default date in Virginia indicating an unknown construction date, or indicates the bridge was moved here at that date. The bridge is likely pre-1900.
