This bridge is today the only Camelback truss in Wisconsin. The bridge has been relocated and preserved for pedestrian use in a park setting on the west side of Baraboo. It was originally on Manchester Street on the east side of Baraboo. Aside from its rare truss configuration, the bridge is noted for its 1884 construction date... old among surviving bridges in Wisconsin, and is also significant as a product of a noteworthy in-state builder. Overall, the bridge has good historic integrity, although the addition of pipe sway braces on the bridge is a noteworthy and visually obvious alteration to the original design.
