John Marvig did additional research and found the following information: Built 1897, Approaches Added 1912; Rehabilitated 1935. It had a restricted loading in 1968
This abandoned railroad overpass and rail line (formerly Burlington Northern) has been converted into a rail-trail. This bridge features wooden approach spans and steel bent supports, which combine to make this bridge more interesting than the average plate girder. Stone abutments from a previous structure remain next to the bridge on one side.
