This bridge is noted for its Pennsylvania truss configuration, and multi-span design. The bridge was closed to traffic in 2018. It appears the substructure may be shifting as one of the decks is higher on one span than the other.
This bridge was originally a toll bridge and was purchased by the state in 1977. The shorter truss spans flanking the central span are 12 panels instead of 16 panels and are 265 feet each.
