This is a rather interesting security measure on the bridge. Apparantly, Canada still unofficially has the death penalty for one offense: trying to climb this bridge! These rollers will cause anyone who attempts to climb the bridge to slip and fall onto the roadway where they will be killed by the constant heavy traffic using the bridge!
