If you are fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to visit this bridge during the mayfly season, you may smell a rotting fish smell around the bridge. These photos detail what the source is... a pile of dead mayflies under the nearby advertising billboard... the lights attract these insects, and with their short lifespans, they die there.
