The definition of irony. In the shadow of the demolition of one of the most unique cantilever truss bridges in the country sits this sign proclaiming Madison, Indiana (which openly supported and promoted the demolition of this historic bridge) as a National Historic District and claims the city played a role in the growth of Indiana's historic preservation movement.
