This is the plaque from the 1933 bridge that provided the new US-112 alignment. it is now mounted on the new slab bridge.
This is what modern bridge "engineering" has managed to reduce plaques to. This would fit in your pocket. However, the "plaque", with a 1997 date on it, does inform visitors of how many years they missed the 1933 bridge by.
