Although it no longer opens for boats, this is a good example of a truss swing bridge in Washington State.

Built 1955 By: Peter Kiewit and Sons of Omaha, Nebraska
Although structurally noted for a design that looked continuous but is actually simple spans, this bridge was made infamous when a truck crashed into and collapsed one of the spans.

Built 1930 By: Alexander and McNeil of Mt. Vernon, Washington and Washington Department of Highways
This is an unusual bridge, with its continuous through truss design, and is dissimilar to the simple span and cantilever trusses found elsewhere in the state.
