Multi-span pony trusses are generally uncommon, although Sonoma County has a few examples including this one. The bridge's trusses are largely unaltered and represent the type well. A sidewalk with ugly cyclone fencing appears to have been added to the bridge. the piers were replaced on this bridge via a creative method of building new columns outside of the footprint of the original piers and building the rest of the pier around the old piers. Once complete, the old columns were cut out, transferring the load to the new columns.
The trusses for the bridge were built by the regionally prolific Judson Pacific Company, however another plaque mentions that Frank Bryant was the on-site general contractor for the bridge.
