Bridge Documentation

This bridge's future is at risk!

Bridge Status: This dam is slated for demolition!

A dam constructed of concrete and steel like this one has a lot in common with the structure of a bridge. Furthermore, dams, since they span the entire width of a river, often end up also serving some sort of roadway or path across the top as is the case with this dam. Although this bridge portion of the dam is gated off today, it appears to have once served pedestrian traffic. The dam is old, and the arch shapes on them, as well as the balustrade railings, match other bridges seen in Flint and provide an aesthetic quality to the structure.
