This bridge is a standard design riveted truss bridge. It is located on a local road which is an old alignment of US-95. The bridge is a viaduct-like structure that crosses both a railroad line and a creek. The main span is the truss span over the railroad, while the southern concrete approach spans cross the creek. Likely the result of collision by trucks, the riveted portal and sway bracing has had large portions replaced with bolted substitutions. Otherwise, the bridge is unaltered from its original design. The current US-95 bridge is visible to the east of this bridge. The current US-95 bridge was built in 1965.

This bridge is locally significant because there are so few riveted truss bridges in this part of the United States. As of 2014, neighboring Canada to the north had a much higher density.
