This bridge is a concrete arch bridge with a stone facing and stone railings, all designed to make it look like a stone arch bridge. The bridge is unaltered. It no longer carries any form of traffic. It is technically on private property, put a park path passes by the bridge enabling the public to view the bridge. The bridge was built as part of the Julius Rosenwald Estate, which was designed and landscaped by Jens Jensen, a noted landscape designer in the Chicagoland area. A historical photo of the bridge taken by Jens Jensen dates to ca. 1914 suggesting the bridge is at least that old.
This bridge is private property, but the trail leading up to it is a park path.
