Bridge Documentation

The first bridge at this location dated to 1839 and it was a timber structure that was burned by soldiers Feb 14, 1862, with a new bridge built two years later in 1864. The 1864 bridge burned in Feb 12, 1915. It is assumed this bridge was built soon after.
