This bridge is a lightweight pony truss composed of riveted angles. Someone went on a welding spree with this bridge at some point. Evidence of welding is clear along the edges of the gusset places. Apparently, they did not trust rivets. The welds seem pointless because the rivets do not appear to have failed. The bridge retains a wooden deck, however has been closed to traffic. There was section loss and pack rust noted along the bottom chord. However, the bridge could be restored for pedestrian use, and perhaps be relocated if it could serve a better use elsewhere.
