There are private truss bridges scattered all over western Huron County, some still crossing a feature, or others just sitting on the grass in storage. This bridge is one that is in storage. A county resident mentioned that a bridge sitting near Weale Road came from Kilmanagh Road. However there are two identical truss bridges on Weale Road sitting on the side of the road. This is the other one. As a result, either one could actually be the Kilmanagh Road Bridge. This bridge however is not as near to a different body of water as that other one, and so this one seems more likely to have been moved from Kilmanagh.
This bridge is in decent shape, and if anyone decides to use it for something, it would likely require little work to put it back into service.
Considering how close these two bridges are to each other, the same person may own these bridges. It is unclear however who that person is, as there were no occupied houses around.
