Bridge Documentation

This culvert has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is one of two culverts on this section of M-26 that are noted for their attractive stone facing, an unusual detail among Michigan bridges. The culvert was listed as having been built by the Keweenaw County Road Commission. The stone on the bridge is locally sourced.
