This bridge is a good example of a typical mid-20th Century county bridge built in Michigan. It utilizes a state standard plan with type R4 railings, and the standard abutment details. Plaques on the bridge indicate the bridge was built with federal and state aid. Although the overall length is short, the 60 foot span is of decent length for a stringer bridge. As a result of the span length, the bridge has fairly deep beams.
