This bridge is one of two nearly identical bridges in Patterson Park. The bridges include a jack-arch deck, which is an uncommon form of deck design featuring corrugated metal spanning between the stringers, with concrete fill placed on top. They also feature an unusual concrete railing design that is seen elsewhere in Muskegon County, but does not appear to have been used elsewhere in the state. Finally, the bridges feature stone abutments, which adds to the beauty of the bridges.
