Likely built in the 1940s, this bridge, a possible predecessor to the Bailey truss, appears to have been moved here from an unknown location in 2006. Several of these have been improperly labeled as Baileys. The confusion arises from he fact that these are US Army modular deck bridges. The nomenclature is reportedly either H5 or H10 based on the truss panel size.The design may pre-date the Bailey design. If anyone has any more accurate information, please contact us.
