Bridge Documentation

This massive 1940s vertical lift bridge has some minor architectural embellishments that reflect the period it was built in. The bridge is unusually wide for riveted vertical lift bridge. HistoricBridges.org is lacking a photo of the bridge plaque visible at the northeast corner of the lift span. If anyone has a photo of this plaque and is willing to share please contact us.
